This is the downfall from Con Heart Redwood V-Rustic Shiplap so it does allow for more knots or blemishes not allowed in the higher grades. So there will be various blemishes which is why it’s a fraction of what Con Heart shiplap costs if you can find it. This is smooth one side and rough one side. Expect some checked knots, end splits, occasional missing knots, and other characteristics not allowed in the premium grades. Heartwood is beautiful and holds up to the elements well.
